Christianity has a Starting Point and a Destination
Every believer’s journey has two key markers:
Where you begin and where the journey ends.
This is why Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” — John 14:6 Jesus is the doorway, the path, and the bridge that leads us to the Father.
The starting point of the Christian life is when we come to Jesus, surrender our lives to Him, and choose to follow Him. From that moment, the first instruction He will give to us is:
“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all other things shall be added unto you.” — Matthew 6:33
Our Christian journey begins in Christ and ultimately leads us back into the presence of God the Father. The entire essence of Christianity is restoration — bringing man back into relationship and fellowship with the Father.
The Three Pillars of Christian Journey
In Matthew 6:33, Jesus outlines three critical components every believer must understand and track:
Seek the Kingdom of God
2. Seek His righteousness
3. And all other things shall be added unto you
These three dimensions form the spiritual compass for every Christian. Understanding them helps you measure your growth, align your priorities, and live a purposeful Christian life.
In this pilot episode of the blog, we introduce these pillars. Next Saturday, we will begin unpacking each one in depth:
What does it truly mean to seek the Kingdom?
2. What does seeking His righteousness entail?
3. What are the “other things” that will be added?
Each of these questions forms a pathway into Training in Righteousness, and together we will build clarity, understanding, and spiritual precision.
The Word of God Defines the Journey
The word of God carries power. It is self-fulfilling. But for the Word to manifest its intent in our lives, we must understand:The path God has set for us The boundaries of that journey
The alignment required to walk faithfully with Christ. When a believer understands their journey, the Christian life becomes purposeful, profitable, and spiritually fulfilling.
