The Fulfilment of the Davidic Tabernacle”
Every heart in the New Testament must become an altar,
a place of meeting between man and God, a place that God desires to fulfil His eternal covenant of love.
God’s Covenant Oath To David
Whenever God swears, it changes the dynamics of the matter. His oath carries the weight of the irreversible—something He has concluded and that must come to pass. It is a reassurance that His word cannot fail; and if His words were to fail, He would cease to be God. This is how serious it is when God swears.
"Once have I sworn by My holiness that I will not lie unto David. His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before Me. It shall be established forever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven." (Psalm 89:35–37)
This is noteworthy: God ties His holiness to the promise that David’s throne will endure forever.
It is instructive, therefore, that whenever we find scriptures where God swears, we can build our whole lives—our family, business, and children—on such scriptures, because they will never fail. Selah.
Christ and the Fulfilment of the Davidic Oath
Centuries after David, God spoke again: “In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old.” (Amos 9:11)
Jesus came with this mission in mind. He declared: “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work.” (John 4:34)
And in teaching His disciples to pray, He gave the blueprint: “Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:9–10)
Christ redefined the Davidic throne and named it the Kingdom of God on earth—God’s rule expressed through human hearts.
The Kingdom of God in the Heart
The Kingdom of God is not first about structures or rituals; it is about God’s will finding expression in man.
Acts 13:22 reminds us why David was chosen: “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.”
The connection is clear: the Davidic Tabernacle and Christ’s mission both centre on the heart. God seeks people whose hearts are sacred, obedient, and wholly dedicated to Him like David.
Sacred Hearts Produce Sacred Altars
For God’s will to be done on earth as in heaven, He requires sacred hearts. Hearts that love Him fully, as commanded:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." (Mark 12:30)
This is the foundation of rebuilding the Davidic Tabernacle. Sacred hearts must become sacred altars, offering worship in spirit and in truth.
Only when there are sacred altars can we offer sacrifices unto God continually, in spirit and in truth.
Preparing for 24/7 Worship
We have a leading to set up a 24/7 ministry of worship inspired by Hebrews 13:15: “By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name.”
We want you to come along with us as we respond in obedience to this scripture, in the manner of what David did in 1 Chronicles 25. David assembled 288 musicians to offer sacrifices of praise, worship, and thanksgiving to God.
Let us remember: the true altar is not built of stone, but of surrendered hearts. When we gather day and night, we are stepping into the reality of the restored Davidic Tabernacle—a people whose hearts are altars, offering unceasing praise to the King.
