THE AUDIENCE OF ONE- "7 DAYS TO KICK-OFF"

IF GOD SAYS IT, HE MEANT IT

"For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it."
Isaiah 55:10–11

If God says it, so it is. So be it!  Everything in heaven and on earth is ultimately subject to the counsel of His will. God's Word is not a suggestion; it is His sovereign decree. Once it proceeds from His mouth, creation itself begins to move toward its fulfillment.

The psalmist declared: "...for You have magnified Your Word above all Your Name."
Psalm 138:2

This is a remarkable statement. God is neither flippant nor careless with His words. He is not like man, who speaks impulsively or makes promises he cannot keep. When the Sovereign Lord of heaven and earth speaks, He speaks with the full weight of His character, His authority, and His eternal purpose.

God's Word is infallible. He places the highest priority on fulfilling what He has spoken. His reputation is inseparably connected to the certainty of His Word. Whatever He has promised, He will surely perform.

WHAT DID GOD SAY?

"In that day I will restore David's fallen shelter. I will repair its broken walls and restore its ruins, and will rebuild it as it used to be..."
Amos 9:11–12

These are not casual words. They are sacred words from the Father. For centuries, this prophecy has echoed through history, waiting for its appointed fulfilment.

God declared that He Himself would restore the Tabernacle of David—not merely as a physical structure, but as a divine pattern of worship that would extend beyond Israel and embrace the nations.

If God said He would restore it, then He meant it.

THE HALLMARK OF SONSHIP

The insignia of sonship is obedience.

Sons and daughters of God are wired to respond to the Father's voice. They do not negotiate His Word; they obey it.

Jesus Himself said:  "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work." John 4:34

That statement MUST define the heart of every true son. As God's children, we should continually ask: What did He say?  What is He saying now? How should I respond?

Whenever the Holy Spirit causes a portion of Scripture to come alive in our hearts, it is an invitation to obedience. Revelation always calls for a response.

THE NEW TESTAMENT DIMENSION

Before we explore the significance of the Davidic Tabernacle, we must see how the prophecy of Amos flows into the New Testament Church of our Lord Jesus Christ.

At the Jerusalem Council, Apostle James quoted Amos almost word for word:

"The words of the prophets are in agreement with this, as it is written: 'After this I will return and rebuild David's fallen tent. Its ruins I will rebuild, and I will restore it, that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who bear My name,' says the Lord, who does these things—things known from long ago."
Acts 15:15–18

This is extraordinary.  James does not build his argument on personal opinion, religious tradition, or mystical experience. Instead, he anchors the future of the Church in the certainty of God's prophetic Word. "The words of the prophets are in agreement..."

In other words, what God spoke through Amos centuries earlier had now found its fulfilment in Christ and in the gathering of people from every nation into God's family.

The restoration of David's Tabernacle was never intended to end with Israel. It was always God's redemptive plan for the rest of mankind.

This is what we are tracking; That includes you. That includes me.

OUR RESPONSE IN 2026

As we count down these next seven days to The Audience of One – 24 Hours of Continuous Praise and Worship, we are not simply preparing for another Christian event.

We are responding to a prophetic invitation for our generation. More than three thousand years after God spoke through Amos, His Word still stands. The Father is still restoring the Davidic Tabernacle. He is still calling men and women into a life of continual worship. He is still gathering a people who will minister to Him with unveiled faces through Jesus Christ.

WE GATHER IN THE SPIRIT

From 2nd–3rd July 2026, we will gather online and in person to respond to that call.

John 4:24  God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

Throughout this seven-day journey, we will delve deeper into the heart of Amos' prophecy. We will discover how it reaches into our generation and ask one important question:

How does God want me to respond?

May we not merely admire the prophecy.  May we become its obedient participants.

See you at The Audience of One.

The Praise Marathon begins 2nd–3rd July 2026 and will be streamed live online.

Watch this space for further details as we continue the countdown.
